Smart Phones

LOML and I are talking about upgrading to smart phones and I have a couple questions.
We are with Verizon and plan on staying with them and I have narrowed the choices down to
either an iPhone4 or an HTC Thunderbolt (Droid). It looks to me that the HTC comes out on top. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's not on your list, but I got the Motorola Droid X from Verizon. I really like it because of the big screen (and hence big buttons...) Of the two on your list, I'd choose the one that "fits" you the best.

I use an HTC Android inspire/ Desire (same phone platform 4G)far better than IPhone, not sure about verizon but with ATT the phone insurance is a lot less for the Androids than for the IPhone since you can only get it through Apple. and the phone is way smarter than I am! Of course that doesn't say much for the phone, but the phone is awesome, They both are power hogs daily battery charge is a must.

I'm on the Andriod network on an LG Optimus. Android has a buttload of free apps on the market that are really full apps with small ads floating around. I can't see a reason to go Iphone.

Definitely spend some time playing with both... Use the keyboards,etc. I personally love my iPhone 4, but to each their own.

From what I heard Iphone is $$$ for apps, the others free apps (or a lot more selection of free ones).

Droid is absolutely my choice - tons of apps - FREE!!!! and it's fast.

I disagree with this... There is as many free apps for iphone as for other phones. There is only a few apps that I've had to shell out money for.

Iphone 4 for me with no complaints, have not bought an APP yet
