Small Phoenix Cardinal plate

My son is a BIG Phoenix Cardinal fan so made this for him. I cut the blank approx. 60% and 40% on the smaller blank I cut out the feather, beak and eye section on my jigsaw. Then I glued the halves back together and filled the sections with resin. After let the resin cure for 48 hours I turned the plate. The black is India ink which I let "cure" for 24 hours. Finish is just Howards feed and wax (mixture of orange oil and bees wax).
C&C welcome. First but not my last resin plate or bowl.
