Nice job, Ken. I like that you have used minimal number of watch parts to allow the blue base to shine through.
You may be still learning as a caster but you can't say a newbie any more!!!!

It's pretty full, some are really tiny and probably hard to see in the pictures. Newbie status explains all mistakes. 😂
 
Yes Ken, Alan has a point. The term Newbie has a few different meanings. Hopefully we all continue to learn as we go. After the first initial start, Newbie, then it's a matter of how often we learn from making mistakes or how much we spend learning. I will add this. Out of all the casting I've done everything was easier than some of the segmenting. AND that's the segmenting I've done that was no where near the level your on. Thanks for sharing your ideas and progress.
 
In addition to the other compliments, which I completely agree with, you did a great job of forming the watch parts to the diameter of the tube - it's a fantastic looking pen!
