SlimLine with W-I-D-E Centerband

This what I do with all of the leftover StreamLine center bands. I drill them out to fit, stack them on the brass tubes, drizzle some CA glue over them to hold them together, and then assemble a pen.

This pen is very heavy and should have Zero sale value. Wrong!!

How did you hold the CB's while drilling, without marking them?

I've thought of trying that with my leftover fancy CB's. Now I know it'll work. Probably won't look quite as classy as this one, Russ, but it'll certainly be a novelty.[]

One ring at a time in a chuck with spigot jaws and a strip of copper to protect the plating. This is not a quick pen.
