This is my first time using these components. I have to say I really like this pen. It uses 8 mm tubes and Parker refills. I don't do a lot of acrylic but I accidentally bought some 5/8 blanks and this was a perfect opportunity to use one. Blank is a blue Damascus in inlace acyrlestor. The clip measured .010 larger than the bushings, pays to measure before you turn. Pen plating is gunmetal. It just feels like a really nice, quality pen in your hand.

Nice! I bought a few (starter set), but haven't even started thinking about what to do with them just yet. Not enough shop time for me lately. Thanks for the heads up on the clip.

There is plenty of room for segmenting, if you wish to go that route.

I was thinking about a single tube, which would allow even more room. I've been wanting to do some segmenting. We'll see how adventurous I feel when I get started, and I do have to start somewhere.

Single tube would be very easy with this pen as the center band is permanently pressed in from both barrels. Refills are replaced by unscrewing the tip. All you would have to do is cut your blank to a longer length and glue the tubes in each end.
