Slimline pen refill thread size?

Does anyone happen to know the size of the threads on the slimline pen kit ink refill?

I want to try something, but since I've never made a custom kitless pen before I want to use parts I have already. I have several tap and die sets at home, but would like to know if I need to stop and get some different sizes on my way home befroe I leave work rather than going home, measureing, and turning around and coming back to town.

Yes - the ink refill, where it normally screws into the mechanism (transmission).

After I got home and did some measuring I discovered that my grand scheme wasn't going to work anyway...

Not sure what your plan is or was but maybe you can rethink it using the transmission. Nothing wrong with easing into kit less work by going semi- kit less!
