My son and daughter-in-law are having a gender reveal party today. I'm going to be a papa! They asked me to make a couple of pens to give to friends who helped organize the party. The second pen Heather chose was a Slim Hybrid from Woodcraft, in brushed gold and gunmetal. (It's a Surfix pen from Berea. I don't know why Woodcraft changes the names of pens.) She chose a stabilized spalted tamarind blank, dyed pink, also from Woodcraft. Made a nice looking pen!

Thank you all for the congratulations. I'll find out today if it's a boy or girl. They're going to use colored smoke, no explosives. LOL

They got the results a month ago, but didn't look at them. They gave them to their friend who is organizing the reveal. Heather chose the pink tamarind, because her friend likes pink. That's the story, anyway. I honestly don't have a gender preference either way. My prayer is that baby and mom are healthy and happy.
