I recently acquired a sliding tap and die holder. Yes, I have one but liked a few features of this new one. First of all, taps, die holders and drill bits are held with ER32 collets. I've been experimenting with it the last few days. I really like it. I liked the price. Holding tools with a collet keeps them securely held and on the same axis. A drawback is the need to have the collets to hold tools. I have a complete set of both SAE and metric collets.

This tool is another Rick Harrell creation. Check out his list in the vendor forum.

Is that MT2? is it available MT3? I already have both metric and std er32 sets
Mine is MT2 but I would think Rick can make it with MT3. I like this tap and die holder much better than the Niles Niche one I have. The collets are much easier than the standard tap holders (jacobs style).
