Sketchers

A couple of Sketcher pencils. These are kits I picked up at Woodcraft when I was there last week. Everybody seems to like these fat little pencils! The top one is Afzelia Xylay, and the bottom is Tiger Myrtle.

I like those Scott! How were they to drill and turn? I've ordered three from CSUSA, and they should be here next week, so any forewarning would be appreciated!

Jim - I was a little worried because the hole was a bit deep, but it drilled just fine. I had to stop in the middle and put my drill jig up on a piece of wood so I could finish out the bottom of the blank. And it couldn't be much easier to turn and assemble. I think you'll enjoy them!
