I’ve always liked the silhouette of the vintage Parker Duofold. It’s kinda quirky, yet distinctive, a true classic, and I enjoy using it as a basis for some fun modern interpretations. This is a homage I did with double skeletonized overlays made from silver, over a transparent blue acrylic barrel and cap. I made the finials and section from black acrylic. The cap has double start 1/2” threads . OAL is about 5.25”. It uses a jowo 6 nib.

Beautiful pen John. Did you use a milling machine to cut the slots or is it skilful use of drill and files?

Pete
A little bit of both. I initially cast them from wax, and then got lazy and stuck the castings on the mill to clean up. I still had to do a considerable amount of filing and sanding between the cutouts
