I did get a data base error twice this morning when I clicked on New Posts - but the other links worked fine.

Unfortunately, we're not out of the woods yet. There are a couple hundred thousand missing posts I need to restore.

Just an outside observation.

Well that was about the most stressful 3 hours I can remember in a long time.

We had a database problem that I thought was going to require we restore from last nights backup. Not a catastrophe, but I'd hate to lose even a single post.

I was finally able to beat it into submission and it seems like we're back in business with no loss of posts. Let me know if you encounter any problems.

That was one nasty problem, though! 250,000 posts went suddenly missing! My antiperspirant was really struggling there for a couple hours. Glad we're still able to claim "no bits misplaced since 2004"!
