Sister's Pen

This is the second pen that my sister turned while she was here.

She wanted to do a couple of segments so I helped her make the blanks and we both ended up with glue all over us, but it was fun. Once we got the blank built, off she went and I only helped with one tricky spot with the finish.

The wood are padauk, ebony and green box elder burl, kit is a black chrome Euro from Ernie, finish is CA/BLO.

She had a good time, I think she may be hooked! hehe [}]

honey?"

Darn it! for a second I was tempted to lie, and
say yes ,that's how nice your pen is...

I'm now going to try one, thanks for the inspiration.

hehe...no way! Next trip I plan to teach her how to make blanks so I can start my own sweatshop! []
