This is a Sirocco pen in antique pewter from Turners Warehouse (made by Beaufort Ink). The blank is a Woodshed called Easter Eggs, from Bear Tooth Woods. This is the second pen I've made from this blank, and it's every bit as pretty as the first. I love Woodshed blanks, they turn easily and polish well, and there are some spectacular ones.

It has just hit our area, it will be right around thirty-one degrees Celcius tomorrow. Then for the next few days, it's going to be over thirty-one degrees with thunder storms included. That's right around eighty-eight degrees f much to hot for me. I prefer around twenty *C, anything much over that, and I start to get uncomfortable.

Nice pen Jim. Here in Montana we still haven't hit 70 F. Snow's finally gone, kinda, and I'm still wearing Sherpa sweats when I come in from the shop. The wood stove gets fired up some nights.

That's a beautiful blank and a great match with a very unique pen kit. I love the brushed components.

Thanks for sharing. (It was 91 outside at my in-laws today... 95 in the house as at age 94 and 95 they are cold all the time) .
