This segmenting is done with some scraps of wood from the scrape box. I've wanted to try some thing like this for awhile. It ain't perfect, but now I know how to make it work. It is kinda like the Beal Pen Wizard work. I'll never be able to sell it for the amount of time used in making it. The payoff comes from the satisfaction in making it, the enjoyment of being out in the shop piddling and making dust and shavings. Let me know what you think.

Good for you to try some segmenting !!!

It would be nice to know what woods you used in each case, if you don't mind adding that information, please.

Very nice Ben! I could not agree more with your attitude: Sometimes, being in the shop "playing" is all that matters.

Many want a salable product, which I respect, but for others, just having an enjoyable time in the shop to work out a personal challenge is also just as valuable.

Well done.

I think "the enjoyment of being out in the shop piddling and making dust and shavings" is the best payment for creating beauty. Nicely done.
