Silver Baron and McKenzie Silver Blank

Mr. McKenzie sent a blank for me to try - I"ll let him talk more about the blank itself when he spots the post. (I don't pretend to understand all of that voodoo...I am certain that blank-casting is one of the "dark arts!") The blank does have a silver sparkle different from the regular DiamondCast blanks, but just as handsome, and really poorly represented by my phone photos. This one is on a silver Baron kit with matching cap accent band and end finial button. This was really a delightful blank and a fun project.

I like it! The Baron is one of my go-to pens for its elegant look minus all the bling.

That was the very thing that drew me to the kit in the first place...nice lines, but not "too loud." Add to that that you can get this kit in silver plate (my personal favorite), and it is a go-to for me too.
