I ordered a grinder stand and, when I opened the package, this is what I saw. Does anyone else see the irony? I got a chuckle.

Nothing to keep the two pieces from banging together during shipping.

PS. I use lithium ion batteries in another hobby. They came in a box with NO packing material. Just the battery rattling around inside....

Hearing aid batteries are a pain now. Old packaging had a "door" on the back, shake out one battery and rotate the tray to another to do the same. Now it's a kid proof package which means a kid "might" eat one. Now you have to struggle to cut between the pockets, cutting through the sealing dimple on each side of the battery, then separate the two halves to get a battery. Wife put two in her purse JIC. Found if exposed to air, they die.

Got a chain saw from CPO like that once--only a sleeve on the blade. And it wasn't a tight fit in the box. Nothing broken and ran fine though.

After my last battle with that stupid plastic shell, I had a thought to handcuff the inventor to railroad tracks and when the train came into sight hand them the key inside a plastic shell.... 👿
