the penn state version is the Gatsby, the tubes are the same as the wall street2 they are refered to as 10.5mm although they are slightly smaller than that. They recomend a 10.5mm drill bit for drilling the holes. the click versions have shorter tubes. I believe they that somebody came out with a nonclick version that takes the shorter tubes. There is a chart of the fron page on the right hand side for pen kits tube sizes and other good stuff you might want to down load it for reference.

http://woodnwhimsies.com/ carries the extra tubes plus they are resellers for PSI. THey have lower prices on the kits than psi. You can split a short Sierra tube and glue a cigar tube inside it to extend the tube to any length you like. Watch for clearances on the hardware.

Gatsby

What size are the tubes in a Sierra? Are they the same length as the Wall Street II? What is Penn State's version of the Sierra?

Thank you,

Trimyer

PSI's version is the Gatsby....externally it is the same as the Sierra and the tube is the same, the twist mechanism is different. The drill bit called for by the Gatsby is 27/64

If you look in the library you will find a pen bushings excel file which has all the info you require with regards to names and tube sizes incl required drill bit sizes etc.
