Sierra Letter Opener ???

Hey folks, quick question for those of you who have made a Sierra letter opener. Is the tube the same size as a regular sierra tube in diameter and length? I have some on the way, but I would like to go ahead and get the barrels turned this weekend.

Hi Hans:
I've yet to make a Sierra letter opener. But, I'd bet the helpful folks at the Berea 1-800 number would know the answer. It might be worth a quick call or e-mail.

Haven't made one in a while but if my memory serves me correctly, diameter is the same but the tube is longer on the opener.

Same drill bit same bushing so ID and OD are the same. If you look at the instruction sheet, i eyeball it at the same lenght. Just read the instruction before starting, you need to turn a tennon on that one !!!
