I'm not sure where to post this so I'll do it here.
I had a local customer call me and tell me that their Sierra style pen was broken. Shocked I asked them to bring it by so that I could take a look and fix it. What they had done was unscrew the top barrel to the left to see what kind of refill it would take. When they did this the two halves could not be screwed back together. I had to remove the clip end from the pen and remove the twist mechanism and then rebuild the pen. I explained to the customer that the want to pull the pieces apart instead of unscrewing them.
If you have a Sierra sitting there could you unscrew it and see if you can screw it back together. Don't worry it's extremely easy to remove the clip end from the blank.
I've tried this on three Sierras and they all appear to be the same so I will now be including instructions for replacing the refills with this kit.
Let me know how yours work out.
