I have the first two & also use them all the time for pens & other small items.

I turn a lot more resin than wood, and until I get more proficient with the skew, the Rockler Square Radius carbide is still my weapon of choice for a smooth finishing cut.

For wood, I like the mini Sorby Spindlemaster.

I'll second this--haven't touched my HSS tools since I won this on the Loser's Train contest last year. With an R2 cutter I can go start to finish and (usually) end up with a finish that can skip sanding and go right to polishing on man-made blanks.

I probably use a skew more than anything but when I am turning aluminum segments I use a square carbide cutter turned to 45° so it is cutting and not scraping.
