I don't know what wood it is, I randomly pulled the block out of the scrap bin we have for shipping wood.
Since I don't have a chuck, I turned down one side to an m2 taper and it in snugly.
This was the third one I made, and it turned out real well. Which surprised me.
What's the best thing to apply to them going on that will be resistant to alcohol?
I've been told beeswax works alright, but I'm not to sure.
