Adding workbenches to my shop. More cabinets coming soon.

Using Harbor Freight tool cabinets for part of the bench and the Harbor Freight add-on cabinet for other parts. These are a good value for the price. I've compared to Sears and other places and find these appear to be the best value.

Here's what the shop really looks like now. I'm getting it cleaned up for our meeting on Saturday. And a picture of the lathes.

Actually, there are three. One is dedicated to the beall buffing system on the right.

I look at saving time when I get into production mode.

1280 sq ft. 32x40.

There's the main room and three smaller rooms each about 10x14. One is storage, another for turning, and another for an office with restroom. Turning room has a window A/C unit for turning in the summer. Main room has A/C but gets costly to run for very long.

I put a workbench in the turning room so I could work in there to glue and paint.

Wow, that is a great shop. It is bigger then my house. I like the set up and the use of the tool boxes as counters. Gave me a great idea for use in my small shop, which doesn't have much storage.

I'm jealous. When we moved, I went from a 2 car garage shop to a 1-car. Yours is twice the size of my old one. I do have a lot of sawdust in mine. Storage is a big issue with a small shop---not to mention cramming too many machines in a very small space. I'll do a post after I get my lathe cabinet stand done.
