Shipwreck wood

I have a friend who is a children's author (Blackbear the Pirate | Children's Book). His wife has commissioned a "special" pen for him that will incorporate the characters/logo.

I need a piece of shipwreck wood ... historical value NOT required i.e. Andrea Doria and such ... just would like to add an additional layer of significance to the pen.
