I don't make pens. I restore Sheaffer plunger-fillers. I'm looking for info on Richard Greenwal's "Shim packs" any info would be appreciated.
Cheers,

Richard retired and shut down his site a few years ago. It left a void for many of the items he used to sell.

Are you just looking for assorted-sized (.001- .005) brass shims?

Do you work on vac fillers? I have done some minor restoration work on simpler pens (lever filler Esterbrooks, a Sheaffer Snorkel), but I obtained a lovely Sheaffer Tuckaway Valiant in carmine red celluloid, which is a vac filler, and despite my best efforts, have not been able to get it working. I don't believe I have damaged it in any way either though. Wouldn't mind having an expert get it up and running.

I have plenty of brass shim, but I like the packaged selection that Richard produced. It is a handy format.
