I finally got a couple of things finished to show.
These two Casuarina "sheoak" bowl/platter are sanded to 400 and polished with Shellawax Glow friction polish.
The grain pattern in this wood is fabulous.

The larger flatter one is 10.75 x 1.75 inch,
and the smaller one is 7 x 2inch.

Hope you like them and thanks for looking.
C & C welcome.

Bob.

Hi Bob,

Good to know you haven't forgot how to turn bowls and platters, huh...???

Is those wood blanks from my "stables"...? I can't remember...!

Absolutely stunning rays (grain) and colours, shapes and finishes are spot-on mate, congrats...!:biggrin:

What else have you have in the making...???

Hi George,
No Mate, these are not yours. The blanks I have from you are much redder and still have the bark on. These ones came from the same place as the burl caps that I am working on at the moment. A couple of the new caps are green so they won't be around for a while.

Cheers,
Bob.
