My oldest daughter asked me if I had turned a bottle stopper yet. I told her no. She said, "You have now!" So I ordered a couple kits and a stopper chuck. Used a piece of Afzelia from some I had received from Jeff last year. Finished with HUT friction polishes. Found turning it to be quite fun. Definitely going to do some more!

Burned-in lines add a lot. Now, let's see the next few.

Right now all I have is Afzelia. I really like it but I want to wait till I get something else before I turn another!! [:D][:D]

The burn in's were a second thought. I had cut them in first but felt it still looked a little plain. I was thinking then of coloring but happened to have some small diameter solid wire handy, so...!!
