I have heard that the razor stand from PSI is different from the razor stand from Berea and that the razor kit from Berea will not fit onto the stand from PSI.

Can anyone give more specific information? I have had a question and I don't have PSI's stuff here, made.

Thanks!!

I don't know for sure, but I can give you a clue. I sold 3 of the 4 Berea razor kits I had this past weekend. Needed some more for this weekend so I drove over to MLCS Woodworking and picked up 5 PSI razor kits. The head is pretty much the same between the two as you would expect, but the handle fittings are much smaller in diameter. Makes sense that the razor stand cradle that holds the razor would be smaller also. I like the Berea kits much better.

Thank-you, Tim.

That is consistent with what I have heard, just wanted to be reassured that it was correct.

The PSI "razor holder" part of the stand is much thinner. The Berea razor handle parts are about .43" in diameter.

With a slight and careful mod the Berea razor will fit in the PSI stand. The ears that hold the razor have to be spread very slightly.
Here is a Berea razor in the PSI stand.

Don't be sorry Mike!!

Razor stands are a product we CAN get from many sources, I am very interested in what you all like, so I know what to look for.
