Sharpener Recommendations Please

I know I want a nice wet sharpener. However, I am not ready to pay the $400+ price tag for a Jet.

Is that a good, more reasonably priced alternative, hopefully in the $100 range?

$100 bucks? I don't think you can do a motorized version for that. Best I can suggest, get some Japanese whetstones. That is the way I do it.

I have considered it, but never really pursued it.

Grizzly has this one http://www.grizzly.com/products/10-Wet-Grinder-Kit/T10010 for $169 and Harbor Freight has this one http://www.grizzly.com/products/10-Wet-Grinder-Kit/T10010 for $109, but I'm told the arbor on the wheel is an odd size.

It is my understanding that the grinding wheel is certainly not the Tormak or Jet.

I was told by a former Tormek salesman that the Grizzly is a spittin image of the european version of the Tormek.
