Introducing another new model - The Preston!



This one is made from a polyester resin called Seven Seas - from Slabs, Blanks, and Boards.

Really beautiful material.

And the first piston filler made using one of the commercially available units found online.

I've made a pen with a TWSBI piston filler and rebuilt an old Italian pen.

I like the color but the piston knob not mating flush seems odd.

I'm super impressed with the color! I'm going to try to get something similar in alumilite.

Yeah - I wasn't sure how hard it would be to get things lined up perfectly - so I made the seams soft.

Great pen and blank! After seeing this I had to order a couple of the seven sea's blanks! Where did you get the piston filler from? I'm thinking of venturing into the kitless realm.
