Set in Stone

Well, Stone inset[]

My first two clear cast items.
The stones in the stoppers are marble and come from a beach on the Island of Iona, Scotland.
The very beach where St Columba landed in 563 bringing christianity to Scotland.

This is a very popular place for tourist so hopefully once i have got them truly mastered, it could be a nice little market for them.[8D]

Mark, they are a bit heavier than a normal stopper, the stones are only about 15mm high.

Roger, i just used a water-clear casting resin form a supplier over here in the UK. 2 shades blue in the mix for the lower section (cast separately)
