Hey All

In 2019 I decided to start making 10 identical pens in series. This allows me to experiment with different elements of the same pen and I've really been enjoying the process. It's teaching me a lot about overall pen design and how little shape changes modify the whole appearance. Today I finished my second series of 10.

Here are my 10 Virage Acrylic Pens from the series:

Marc, I compliment you on your process. Yes, you will refine your technique and perspective on your materials. This will be of value.

I'll also vote for the solid black. A booger to get polished, but well worth the effort.

Very nice.

Well, counselor, I'm frankly jealous that you've been able turn all those beautiful pens so far this year! I just received some Virage kits so I find your post timely and inspiring. I think my fave is that amber-colored blank on the far right. Really nice!

Thank you for posting these lovely pens ... Very well done indeed !!!

The Virage kit is one of my favorites for several reasons ... one of which is that it is fairly quick to do ... and also the result is so pleasing !!
