Segmented tru stone with ebony

Hi Everyone,

This is a Jr. Gent II in Black Ti. The barrel is banded malachite tru stone, cherry veneer, and gabon ebony. Sorry for the poor pic quality! Still figuring out the tent and lighting.

Well done...on making the pen, anyway. I like the overall design. I personally might have considered using aluminum for the inlays instead of cherry to compliment the hardware, but what you did looks great. Hopefully that ebony was dry enough when you turned it, the last ebony lamination I did up ended up splitting b/c it was too wet. Now I use african blackwood!

Chris, the pen looks beautiful. Nice job on the segmenting. The banded malachite and ebony look great together.
