Great looking pen but I find it gets lost in the photo with the reflection and the segmented piece supporting it. Something a little less 'busy' would highlight the pen more.

I did notice some bleeding between the different colored woods. What glue and finish did you use?

CA usually prevents bleeding. Acetone will induce bleeding as will some other finishes such as lacquer. DAMHIKT! :biggrin:

Yes, there is some bleeding between the different colored woods.
I used medium CA to glue the pieces of wood, and the red color of the Plum tree go to the Maple Grrrr...
Next time i will use thin CA before gluing.
