I don't know what's wrong with my camera. The photographs end up too dark.

I don't know what's wrong with my camera. The photographs end up too dark.

Probably caused by the light background. The camera compensates to balance the exposure time. Try putting the pen on a slightly darker background, maybe a tan or sienna.

Good idea, and right enough, my photographs only started to look dark after using that white background ( Duh! )
I'll change it for the next photographs.
