I'm learning to turn bowls and working on learning to segment different kinds of woods. These were fun starters
My wife has many plans for me now

Mo, Those are some nice looking bowls!! I have been experimenting myself with segmenting.

I think the segmented bowl looks a lot more interesting than a standard bowl.

What types of wood do you have in them?

OK Mark , now you've done it !!! I have been saying I am going to do some segmented bowls , but can never find the time . I have no more excuses , time to do it .
Great job on those . I love the light (maple) / dark (?) colored wood bowl the most . What woods did you use for them . Great finish by the way .

I do a lot of segmented bowls and other things..my biggest vase has been about 800 pieces, but they sure are fun to do..love the cutting board..keep sharing this stuff with us

The Light and dark bowl is Maple and Black walnut.
The little bigger bowl is Cherry and African Mahogany and the biggest bowl is Red Oak and Cherry. The cutting board is just Red Oak end grain up.
