Used one of Brian Ochoa black Skelton blanks , inserted Maple, Yellow Heart and Walnut infill. Used Aquilo gold kit from Turnerware house.

Cheating or not, it came out really nicely! I had never heard of Brian Ochoa, but a search turned this up and WOW, there are some nice blanks on his page!

Yes he does nice work. Lot of his blanks are laser cut.

I have some of Brian's skeletons. Did you usevthin CA to glue the tiles in place?

Don: Yes on the thin CA. Got to make sure several items. Infills must be square , cuts sharp corners not rough edges and when fitting insure infill fits fullly up tight in the corners of the Skelton.
I have a jig. To hold the blank and to clamp it down to keep the alignment correct.
Use lot of CA, let it cure out before drilling, be careful not to drill to fast and heat the bit.
When installing Tube I use epoxy that is warm to install the tube.
They take lot CA when turning to help control chip out, I use skew very very sharp which works great.
