Section stuck on mandrel

Hi,

I just turned an FP section on a brass mandrel and now the section is stuck inside the mandrel. I have a heat gun that I tried for a couple of minutes but I'm worried about melting the threads inside the brass.

Any ideas?

This happened to me a little while ago. I managed to get it off by wrapping the barrel with an old inner tube to grip the plastic (and avoid scratches), and using a pliers for torque.

Thanks! Finally got it off with some cautiously applied heat and a pair of section pliers. Next time I'll put some silicon grease on the threads before mounting it.

I have a spark plug plier wire plier. Works pretty good.
