I like what you did with the facets and the vertex. I did one a year or so ago and posted and then Pierre showed his....he wins. We wrote an article together. I wrote about using the Beall Pen Wizard and Pierre wrote about his hand made process. Look at his way here: http://www.penturners.org/forum/1920799-post9.html . very interesting

Thanks for showig your faceted pens. They look really nice. It is a nice pair with the vertex.

Do a good turn daily!

Yeah I remember reading that. Pierre's twist in the middle is priceless. Such amazing work. I have been faceting them for about 2 years, but I finally started posting them. I have another faceted kit coming soon once I get through my current round of builds.

Here is another method of faceting, https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFwwtvtKlXW9LSrvtgfAwvFnp9jz7X0Sp

There are 20 videos, yes a long tutorial, but you can skip a lot of parts. To get the basics, go to video 6. This is basically done all by hand with rasps, files and sandpaper. Watch it, get the techniques, and then convert to power method, a disc or belt sander to get to the basic shape will cut the time down. Want a twist? rotate the horizontal lines as you go.
