I had a throwaway kit that was missing parts, and no more kits to scavenge from, so I figured it would be a good experimental mule. My head wasn't as into it as I'd like to be, so some details kinda went sough. Had to disassemble ans shorten the barrel up a bit, and couldn't quite get the polish back to right. Also scarred up the finial during disassembly. It's a personal use pencil for Dungeons and Dragons night, so I'm not to worried. The gold cap over the eraser was long gone in this kit, so this one was borrowed from my first one piece pencil for the photo shoot. I may keep it on this one permanently.

That's a really sweet lookin blank - I'd love a pencil like this. I can't wait to be able to turn kits!

I wonder how it would look with silver furniture instead of gold...
