Tried a white one this time.
The usual .. MicroMesh, Tripoli and Novis 2 plastic polish.
A coat of Ren wax to keep my fingerprints off.

Also messing around with the photo tent.. not sure I like the mirror
at all. Maybe I need a mirror without the 1/4 of glass on the front.
It gives you those double and quadruple images..

Great Pens and Photography

Just wanted to say that they look great and the photograpy is superb as well. I like the mirror effect.

John

Great pen and good photo work, but dump the mirror. If you want something reflective, try a granite tile in black or grey. Nice sharp reflection, but only one, since the reflective surface is truly the surface, not a layer of silver under a sheet of glass.

I would like the mirror more if there were something else in the frame to pull your eye away from the reflection. Maybe a glass of brandy with rock ice just coming into frame from the top left. Or maybe a watch (Rolex, of course:biggrin:) or loose change or opera tickets..etc.

EDIT: Well, after looking at that reflection a little more (and feeling dizzy..lol) I would umm...ditch the mirror.

Oh, and the pens look fantastic.

Well done Charlie. I want them both. Great photography

Naah.. I gotta go out and get a nice black marble tile.. or maybe gray.
Dunno yet. Then I'll shoot them again and try to nail it down.

Hauling trash out of the shop this morning. Got to make some room.
Found all sorts of missing tools though..

YARD SALE AT CHARLIE'S SHOP!
Anyone need speakers?
