This stuff is pretty but has little bits of steel in it tear up your tools. It also melts if it gets hot.

Not sure if it's the angle, but...is that a short pen?

Love the material and look...what is it?

Yup, it's short, about 4 3/4". The material is called cebloplast, I believe. It's mostly sold under the name Invisavue, because you can't see through it, doesn't require tube or reverse painting. You have to drill SLOWLY--I drill on the lathe at 250 rpm for this stuff and clear chips out every 3/8 inch.

I love the color and will be making some kitless pens with it someday.

I want to add that the material has a really nice feel, like ebonite. It feels a little rubbery (not slippery) and warm. Much nicer feel than any of the other resins.

Not to detract for your pen, but this isnt Cebloplast. Cebloplast was a product name given to a material made for the Sheaffer pen company in the 1930's. All Cebloplast is vintage. Invisivue is a new product.
