Second Band-It

Number two done. This one is stabilized maple burl and the center inlay and matching finial is blue opal, Glu Boost finish. On this one, I back painted the center band and finial with Testors blue enamel paint. I like it a little better back painted and will likely always do it that way. Comments and critiques welcomed.

Sweet pen. I love the blue accent elements. This kit really takes the pen to a visually higher level. Great pairing with the Maple Burl. Thanks for sharing.

I like it. This looks even better than the last. I agree about the paint based on your pictures. I can tell a difference between the band/finial in this compared to without paint on the last one.
