Search doesn't find ported content.

The "Search" function does not appear to find much content from the old site. For example, if you put "jeff" in the "posted by" field, it returns 3 posts from 2008, and a page of results starting from yesterday, but nothing in between. Using keywords that should find threads from a week ago, the search function returns "no results found".

FWIW, the "Find threads -> Threads with your posts" has the same behavior (only shows threads joined since yesterday). I suspect the two symptoms are related.
