Seam Rippers

A friend asked me about some rippers I'd made for another friend that gave them away as gifts. She, the first friend mentioned, said that she and her sister were going to a big quilting show out of state and she wanted to give her sister one. When I asked what she wanted them made of she said she didn't care. I figured since it was a quilting get together there would be material involved. When I asked if she had any material that was special to her or her sister she said she had some scrapes from a dress her grandmother made for her mom. The rest is in the picture.
