Just playing around and testing a cute simple design to make sure it spins out proper. Thanks for looking.

"Just playing around"????? I can't wait until you get serious about it. It looks great!!:good:

A good start. Personally I would make the body a little thicker in the middle, and fill in the body with multicolored sections. May no longer be a simple design, but would certainly pop more. I've been working on and off on a seahorse clip and this got me thinking that this design too would look even better as a clip. Why not try to scroll some out of alumilite or another material. Maybe use brass as a backer if its not stiff enough. Could look cool with one of your fish scenes.

That is a great piece of work. I find that I really, really like some of your designs, and really, really dislike some of your designs, in my humble opinion.

I have to disagree with Bruce, though. I think this looks simply beautiful. Exactly that--simple and beautiful. Most seahorses do not have multiple wild colors like fish do, and so I think you nailed it here. If this was available, I wouldn't hesitate to make one for my wife.

It's totally acceptable to feel that way Brian. Not everything is for everyone. If you were to look at all my artwork and all my pen designs, you might thing I'm a pretty sick and twisted individual. I have no idea why I love death and destruction, and I love beautiful faeries and flowers. I think I just build how I feel at the moment.

It looks great Jeff . I like the simplicity of it , and the color matches that blank perfectly . I think Bruce is right about making it into a clip . It would look fantastic with one of your underwater blanks .
