I finally got around to making my Tuscany fountain pen from classic nib last week. I couldn't decide between cebloplast or some vintage casein I got recently. As you can see I went with the sapphire cebloplast for the first component set anyway. I may have to buy a second one for the casein.
The pen turned out beautifully. The only problem I ran into was with the plastic bushings. One was to loose and the other didn't fit (to big). But you want to use your calipers as you turn your blanks anyway. I also figured out the Jr. Gent (turn between centers bushings Johnny makes) fit snugly but you need to use the calipers for final outside diameter of blank.
All the components fit nicely with a little two part epoxy.
Thanks for looking, Keith "mrburls"
