One of the members of my Local AAW group introduced us to a sandpaper about threee months ago - We only meet once per month - I purchased a box of 3" rounds 50 pc per box of 220 - 320 - 400. The paper Is the VERY BEST I have ever used.
I can't recall the name of it - I will need to at the box when I am in the shop tomorrow. I plan on buying the other few grit papers at this Saturdays meeting 80 - 180 and perhaps another depending on whats avaiable.
It was not exactly cheap but I can tell you from experinece I get at least 4X if not 5 or 6X of use from this paper then any other paper I have used - and I have tried all the big name normal brands.
Sorry I can't recall the name of it - I sound pretty dumb telling you great it is and I can't even tell you what IT is....
The 50 count box was about $30 or $32 - I use it on wood -super soft to super hard it works great. I also use it to rough sand acrylics, M3, metal - basically any and everything I have been 110% satiesfied with it.
He sells the boxes of 50 or he also sells a sample baggy that includes a few pieces of each grit for $25 or so?
I will have a name brand for you this time tomorow - If you are interested I can purchase some for you at this Saurdays monthly meeting. Perhaps the sample bag for this month and then decide if you want the boxes of 50. He may also break the boxes in half - but the better per piece price is the box.
PM me if you are interested in additional info.
If this is any indication I won't bother purchasing any other type of abrasive in the future, I think that highly of it.
