I haven't gotten into making pendants so I was trying to figure out something else I could use the pendant backer plate for. I've moved away from using a pen mill lately and didn't really have any way to set up a jig for my disk sander and don't have room to keep it out and set up anyway so this is what I came up with.

Seems to work great for the job and allows me multiple locations on the sanding disk.

Nothing gets bent since it is only a light touch of the blank to the disk. I'm really happy with the way it works. I have the punch set so I can go to a larger diameter rod for the larger kits.
