Thank you for your prompt reply, I don't remember to have heard anything about this and I understand what you mean about "red tape" I don't blame you for your decision...!
I have had people commenting about the difficulty to find HRB anywhere so, I knew that something was up, and quite frankly, I'm not that surprised , we all have given this wood and others, far too much value therefore creating an almost open invitation to get unscrupulous timber importers to pay good money for those trees to be cut down and shipped over, for the "natives" that's only a good opportunity to make a few dollars to alleviate their miserable way of living, while the big timber guys, are making big fortunes out of it...!
Despite all this, that is a well know "reality", the burls from this wood are in fact some of the most beautiful pieces of wood I, and many others, ever saw so, is maybe time that we all see HRB as a product that can not sustain the demand we all are so guilt of, and look for alternatives to take the pressure and the temptation to pay to get these trees cut, in the first place.
I mean no disrespect and you should admit/accept that everything I said is true and correct, you are very lucky to have some of it to sell...!
Cheers
George
