Just got some Infinity Rollerball kits; first time I'm using rollerball kits. The issue I'm having is as follows:
When putting the coupler with the black plastic piece into the cap, the instructions called for putting some thick CA around the tiny groove on the plastic. When I was pressing that piece in, there was some glue squeeze out which ruined the finish on the pen. I'm trying to get that coupler out of the tube in order to re-use. I've tried soaking it in acetone overnight without success. Any thoughts as to how I might be able to get that piece out? TIA

Ed -thanks for the suggestion. The situation is that the center band is on the plastic piece, so all of it is glued in. I'm trying to recover the center band so that the kit is useable. Then I can get the plastic piece that you show. I'd be happy to hear any other suggestions you may have.

AT PRESENT we offer the full centerband assy for the Band It. This will be expanding, but it is months away (Lead time on these projects is about 90 days). Don't dispose of the rest of the parts--they will be useful at some future date.

Or, make it into a Band-It centerband, it will complement the rest of the parts of the infinity.
